During London Fashion Week, I was invited to Terry de Havilland’s studio in London.
Terry de Havilland is a legendary shoe designer and known as the rock and roll cobbler. Visiting his studio, was like being in shoe heaven.
There were shoes on display, from his latest collection, to original vintage shoes from the 70s.
Adorned on the wall, were examples of his work from the Tomb Raider movie posters, his current sketches, to photographs of pop royalty and rock and roll legends, all wearing his shoes.
I met the man himself and his lovely wife Liz, and had a nose around their workshop space. This is where all the magic happens people!
We chatted shoes, shoes and shoes – my favourite kind of talk. Here were my absolute favourite pair of shoes that I fell instantly in love with. I’m a BIG Debbie Harry fan! Check out the amazing sole! I think these are actually my favourite pair of shoes in the world…. if only they did them in a size 3, sigh!
I’ll be blogging soon about the brilliant Christian Blanken show where TDH also did the shoes!
If you wish to get your hands on some God damn beautiful shoes, make sure you visit his website here.
